After CHANEL had it’s show through the streets of Havana and Louis Vuitton turning the Niterói’s Museum of Contemporary Art (Rio de Janeiro) into a fashion runway, it was time for Dior to present its Cruise Collection 2017 in a fashion world unusual location, but a very traditional in the original sense of the word.
Bleinheim Palace, in Oxford England, a XVII century castle where the british icon Winston Churchill was born. And maybe it was this well-known fact that inspired the pre-collection, so evocative of the post-war wardrobe.
This was Dior’s first show under the direction of Serge Ruffieux and Lucir Meirer. In June, the duo presents their high-fashion collection in Paris, and BlueGinger couldn’t be more excited. Next time, please take me!!!
